I would imagine that their was a problem with the DNS client on your instance of UnRaid, a problem with DNS resolution within the intranet it was connected to, or a temporary issue with the DNS records managed by the Passman Devs. I say temporary because I can't reproduce a domain name resolution failure, so if the issue persists with what you're working on, it doesn't appear to be within the control of the Passman Devs to correct.
https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html
CURLE_COULDNT_RESOLVE_HOST (6) Couldn't resolve host. The given remote host was not resolved.
However, for me...
[user:~] 130 $ dig +short releases.passman.cc @8.8.8.8
104.24.118.85
104.24.119.85
[user:~] $ curl -I https://releases.passman.cc
HTTP/2 200
date: Thu, 18 Jan 2018 19:00:07 GMT
Check to see if you can resolve anything (such as Google) on the host where you're trying to install Passman:
[user:~] $ dig +short www.google.com @8.8.8.8
172.217.3.228
[user:~] $ dig +short www.google.com
216.58.192.228
If any IP address is returned at all for either, then it's at least half-working, and you can go from there.
Thank you for the response. Very odd I can install any other app from the nextcloud market without the resolution issue.
I'll see what I can figure out. Thank you.

Hi,
at my nextcloud installation with the latest update I´ve also these errors in my log file and there are many. It doesn´t seem to be fixed?
@benhartwich I'd think the Devs would want you to paste the logs that you have, just so they don't have to make assumptions.
As for the error, I don't know what to tell ya. I can resolve the domain and get an HTTP response plus HTML:
$ date && dig +short releases.passman.cc @8.8.8.8 && curl -L releases.passman.cc
