Manage Emojis

Steps to reproduce

  1. Receive or send an emoji by sms
  2. Sync
  3. Display them on the web page

Expected behaviour

All emojis handled, with their proper color image Screenshot generated by adding https://github.com/eosrei/emojione-color-font as default font in the webpage Screenshot from my phone image (notice the last emoji which seems not to be handled by emojione-color-font)

Actual behaviour

Default font for all emojis (some are in color ? ) image

Server configuration

NextCloud/ownCloud version: 12.0.2 PHP version: 7.0.22 HTTPd server: Apache2 Database engine & version: MySQL 5.7.19

Client configuration

NextCloud SMS app version: 1.1.0

can you provide a PR as you seems to have the correct fix for that ? it can be very nice

My "fix" included adding a new font in my system, I can not push this ^^

I'll have a look of a way to use a way to make it work

That's basically asking for the web server to send a font for systems that are lacking it.
