notes Umlauts / special characters disappearing when typing fast

When typing an umlaut character (like ä, ö, ü), followed by any other character or blank space very fast, the umlaut gets deleted again. When typing a bit slower, the everything is fine. Same with other special characters like °. I'm using the latest Firefox.

Same here. I don't even need to type fast. This needs to be fixed!

Same problem here, with latest Firefox at the time of writing (140.0.1), with French special characters (é, à). Going back to the middle of a sentence to edit the character seems to work (it doesn't get deleted afterwards). I don't seem to have a problem with any other web app.
