[Question] Line spacing
Hi,
when I write a text and hit enter, I'd like only little space between the lines (like option 2 below). However, in the Notes app it there is a large space between the lines (like in option 1 below). I know that I can use [ctrl + enter] to make lines with small space between the lines so that it looks like in Option 2 below. That doesn't work well when I copy that text and paste it in another app. Then all is put in one line. I would be nice if option 2 would be the default when making a new line. I never use option 1 and it make it harder for me to use the notes app. I guess there is no option to change in the setting to have option 2 by default, right?
Well, it's the difference between a line break and a paragraph - common in each word processor software. Did you already try Shift + Enter to avoid a new paragraph?
@stefan-niedermann thanks for your hint. I did try a few things and found out that the problem come's not from this notes app, but from the Android notes app. So when I enter on Android this Line1 [enter] Line2 [enter] Line3 [enter]
Then I copy this from the NC notes app on the desktop browser (same note I've entred on Android notes) and paste it into my app (Cherry tree note taking desktop app) and it looks like this Line1 Line2 Line3
I've found out I have to paste it as unformatted text in Cherry tree. That it works fine. So now I know what happened and I have a workable workaround.
But still , I would prefer line breaks with regular spacing between the line's in the first place (without having to use ctrl or shift) and not paragraph's when I hit enter.
Anyways, thanks again.
