Support automatic downloading of Audio Podcasts
As requested in #3 , owncloud news app supports audio podcasts very well. A good extra feature would be to support automatic (pre) downloading audio podcasts (/the audio file of them). A user could e.g. select to download the 5 latest audio podcasts to listen to them offline. And they will be downloaded while syncing.
I'd like to see this as well. Have there been any updates here or plans to implement it?
Sorry for the late answer, I'm currently on improving the way podcasts are stored. I also added a status bar to the notifications showing the current progress in percent as well as the current download speed along with the file size in total.
There are no plans yet to download them automatically but I think that would be a much requested feature which is quite useful as I agree. However I need to think about the storage part as well as the download part as some users might not want to download those podcasts over their mobile network if they trigger a sync there.. ?
