GPX files apparently are listed by extension, including Guitar Pro 6 *.gpx files

Just as a quick report on what catched my eye a moment ago. It appears like GPX files are registered based solely on their file extension. Also including files like Guitar Pro 6 guitar tabs which obviously does not make sense. I personally have no use for this whole feature at all but I would appreciate a disable option or more precise file recognition. Maybe a check for headers or MIME-types would help in this matter.
