Feature request: managed app configuration
Hi there,
sorry but I was not sure if this is the right place, or the community, therefore I first created the topic at: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/feature-request-managed-app-configuration/30562
But now I saw lot's of feature requests over here, so I duplicated it, in the hope the developers will see it here.
It would be great to configure the iOS App via payload wit an MDM. Information an managed app configuration can be found here: https://www.appconfig.org/ios/1

This is also important for Android. Google managed configuration for Android for Enterprise. Have there been any updates lately ?
Now lots of school use nextcloud when learning at home. School admins would appreciate to configure the nextcloud-app via their MDM for hundreds of iPads.
It seems this is already available, but only in the Nextcloud Client Branding / Client Branding Plus: https://nextcloud.com/blog/branded-nextcloud-clients/ "Pre-configured URL of the Nextcloud server" and "MDM functionalities"
Ill get in touch and and find out if that I what everyone wants. If yes, I know why the free version does not have it...

Is there any Update on this topic? A basic AppConfig for Nextcloud iOS ist provided by the repo. But i'm unable to get it work.
Also a interesting question would be, what kind of MDM do you guys use? JAMF, FILEWAVE, InTune? 😄
Any news regarding this? It's a must have feature for our educational environment as paid customer.
Unfortunately it doesn't work with version 4.5 either. I work for a school authority and we manage 15,000 IOS devices via our MDM. It would be great if we could pre-configure Nextcloud via our MDM. Thanks
