[Bug]: Unable to remove second account, readded at every start

Bug description

I had an old account cloud1.mydomain.com. Now I added cloud2.mydomain.com. This is a different instance.

When I delete the old account and restart nextcloud, I will readd cloud1.mydomain.com and ask me to authenticate.

Steps to reproduce

  1. have two accounts
  2. Go to the client, click on the account, and than click remove account
  3. Get a warning that it will only disconnect, not delete data.
  4. accept
  5. account is removed
  6. restart Nextcloud

Expected behavior

Delete the account

Workaround: Deleted both AppData folders and added cloud2.mydomain.com again.

What version of the client?

Happened on the 2.Nov then up to date Desktop client on two different Windows machines. Unfortunately I don't remember the version of the client.

Same issue for me : I delete an account from the desktop client but each time I restart Nextcloud or my computer, it asks me again for authenticate and open a tab in my web browser from de nextcloud instance.

  • version : Linux 3.13.0

how to solve :

  • close Nextcloud client
  • Save /home/user/.config/Nextcloud/nextcloud.cfg : cp -a /home/user/.config/Nextcloud/nextcloud.cfg /home/user/.config/Nextcloud/nextcloud.cfg.OLD
  • edit : /home/martin/.config/Nextcloud/nextcloud.cfg
  • remove lines about the undesired account : all lines with the same number #/.... that are related to the account
  • restart nextcloud desktop
