Bug description
Using the latest release of the Nextcloud client, with virtual files enabled, nothing happens when I double-click on any .nextcloud file. I have to right click on it > Nextcloud > Always make it available locally (I'm not sure of this one, I have the french translation).
Steps to reproduce
Using the latest release of the Nextcloud client, with virtual files enabled. Double click on any .nextcloud file
Expected behavior
The file behind the .nextcloud virtual file should be downloaded and available for edition

Same issue here on two machines (latest OS, Desktop, Server).
We got the same Issue also. Works with sometimes, sometimes not. When trying to download the file via right click (Context menu) it works, double click does not.
still got the same problem with latest client + latest server version
Having the same trouble on a MacBook Pro with 11.7.4
It seems to failed since I did an update of the client app.
same problem with latest client + latest server version
By any chance, are you all using the "Group folders" add-on ?
Same problem here, Nextcloud Desktop-Client 3.12.3, macOS 14.4.1, no "Group folders"
