Calendar 5.0.0 cannot set shared calendar as default; creates events in hidden calendar [regression]

Open artfulrobot opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Steps to reproduce

  1. hide your personal calendars
  2. have someone share a calendar with you.
  3. create an event

Expected behavior

the event should show up in the (only) calendar you have enabled/shown.

This is a regression.

Actual behaviour

the event is added to the hidden calendar; it appears like it has not worked, and there is no way to elevate a shared calendar above the hidden ones (I guess because they are now separated out into a different section?)

Any news on that Issue? Together with #6015 this makes the shared calendar with people which dont understand the concept of personal and shared calendars not verify usefull

Hey all. Just noting that I would love to see a fix for this. I keep inadvertently having issues added to my (disabled) personal calendar as I have a default shared calendar. It would be great for it to either recognize the default calendar or provide a way to disable and delete the personal calendar. Thank you.

Hi,

Are you talking about when you create a new event from the UI?
