Force full sync
I had some issues with my home server, which was rathere sick, and so was I, at the hospital, so I couldn't do much about it. The result was two months of outage. I'm back now, nextcloud is up, no data losses, but no data has come in for months. It's obviously possible to manually upload everything, but it's a PITA and if all users have to do that manually, well, it's not going to happen, the way I know users. So, IMHO we need a way to do a full sync from time to time to cover this issue (and possibly a ton of others). I can only guess this has been discussed high and low, so I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented. Is it very hard? Does it take a lot of time? Will a monetary gift help?
Best regards

+1 this. My Android app decided to stop uploading photos. I think some permissions were revoked because I never open the app. A full sync option and re-requesting any missing permissions, especially the magical "All Files Access", would be a welcome addition to the app.
My app has been uploading photos, but sporadic, many photos have been uploaded and some have not.
I was about to make the same suggestion. "Force auto upload" or something.
I dont think it should be that hard to implement. Maybe some dont think it would be the nicest sollution but it would be better than no sollution: Auto upload do have a feature to upload all existing photos when you first turn on. And also has a feature to detect if an image with the same name already is there. By default you then get a conflict notification that ask what one to keep. If I remember right you can set to skip uploading or replace by default on those conflicts.
So it shouldnt be hard to just have a button that combine those above, kinda acts like you activate auto uploading the first time, with existing photos and set to skip on those conflicts.
I just don't understand why this haven't been implemented already. I guess you could just grab the rsync code and rip out what you need there and even that would be overkill.

How can I trust that this isn't infected?
