Don't auto upload files on a wifi connection without internet
Steps to reproduce
- Setup an auto-upload folder, using only wifi to upload.
- Connect to a wifi network without access to the internet. E.g. a private network for an iot device/tv etc.
Expected behaviour
No files are uploaded, because there is no internet connection on the wifi network.
Actual behaviour
Files are uploaded over the cell network data connection. This causes file uploads to use your limited data bandwidth.
Nextcloud android app version
3.21
Similar issue. For me Nextcloud doesn't respect metered networks and auto-uploads photos when it isn't supported to.
Not sure if we have any control over this, since we check "wifi is connected" and "device has internet connectivity", and both are true in this case, but will have a look at it. As a workaround you can disable the "use data connection when wifi is unstable" or similar option in your android device.
