How to get zoom level when you click zoom buttons or mousewheel

Description

Hello,

I'm working on a project with jquery mapeal, i would like to update the map at different levels of zoom. we can see, in inspecting element, that each time we click the zoom button the viewbox attribue value of the svg div will change.

However, among all the functions of mapeal object, there is the trigger function that allow changing zoom at a defined level, is there any function for getting zoom value. ?
