Hello, I am trying to synchronize my wallet but it goes backwards. It started at 99.98% and it is slowly dropping to 93, 92, 91%

Hi, I found that your Neuron's version is too old, maybe it will be better to use the latest version. Here is the latest version https://github.com/nervosnetwork/neuron/releases/tag/v0.112.0

I didnt use Neuron in a very long time. Could it be that it still has to pick up the current block number?

At this moment is showing these numbers: 8,333,996 / 11,213,996

The problem I think is that while the first number is increasing, the second number is picking up as well. Could this be the reason? Which block number are we at?

That's right, previous, we don't set assume-valid-target, so the head tip number and synced block number will increase together. After we set assume-valid-target, the header tip number will increase to the block number that we set, and then the synced block number will start to increase.
