Any chance of gemifying/updating for newer Javas like Java 8?

Hi,

If I understand correctly, this is a Java to Ruby converter.

I would like to use to convert the java.awt.geom classes to Ruby to take advantage of their algorithms in CRuby (not JRuby)

Will this project by any chance receive an update for Java 8 at least, and get improved instruction documentation and a self-contained gem?
