Anyway to hide errors shown by excel?

I am getting numbers stored as text and I would like to hide them programmatically.

Not that I know of. There is an application wide setting to disable the error checking, but I don't know of a way to set it at the workbook level

Isn't it better to make something like an autoformatter?
