Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. GroundSystem is currently written under the assumption that the end users will be running the program on a Linux-based platform. The program might fail under Windows or macOS

Describe the solution you'd like Fix/update GroundSystem to be more portable and platform-agnostic
