Not-a-model is an error displayed in a rescue block from a LOT of code

Known issue. Not sure where the patch is. A bunch of code got reverted, and a lot of the code in the current release has been rewritten by Jon.

I'll fix it - mostly just wanted to note that it was here. Is "master" still the head branch?
