Impossible to save and than resume interpolation process

I've noticed that is impossible to resume the interopation process, i' ll try to explain; if i' ve a large video like a movie, it will take like lots of time to complete, so it would be great to stop the process, save the progresses made so far, and let 's say the next day start from where we have left.
