[BUG] Black screen after entering Hyprland wallpaper not displaying

Describe the bug

The expected behavior is to load the default wallpaper from the wallpaper folder

Please try to update your system. Make sure that your python setup is correct and uptodate and rebuild waypaper.

@mylinuxforwork I am facing the same issue after updating my full system today morning. I am on Manjaro and using

  • Hyprland version 0.46.2
  • Waypaper 2.4

Getting this error when running waypaper

 ❯❯ waypaper
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/waypaper", line 5, in <module>
    from waypaper.__main__ import run
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'waypaper'
