[BUG] Hyprlock, logging back in, second monitor is turned off and stays off.
ML4W dotfiles is awesome, thank you for all the effort.
Describe the bug When I leave my computer for awhile and Hyprlock runs, the second monitor turns off and hyprlock is only on the first/primary monitor. When I log back in, the second monitor stays off and I have to reboot to get it back. The most fun part is that it doesn't happen every time, its just about every other time.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Be in Hyprland
- Wait for Hyprlock to kick in
- Log back in with password
- Second monitor is off
Expected behavior Second monitor does not shut off.
Distribution (please complete the following information):
- Arch Linux
Additional context This is a very fresh install. Installed Arch Linux minimal and ML4W yesterday morning. Everything else seems to be working great. The only other little issue I have is SDDM appears on the second monitor, which is rotated 90 degrees, so it shows up sideways and off to the side, instead of on my main monitor.
Can not reproduce the bug
- Was in Hyprland
- Waited for Hyprlock to kick in
- Logged back in with password
- Second monitor wasn't off
- EndeavourOS
- Linux 6.12.1-arch1-1
- Hyprland 0.45.2
- ml4w-hyprland 2.9.7.0-1
With kind regards, Feike
Understood. It is random at this point, it happened once today. So I don't know what we could possibly do. I'll probably just put up with it and hope it goes away in the future.
Try to add this in your custom.conf
