Alexa To Reminders Access.js is bringing over completed items

The "Alexa To Reminders Access.js" script is copying over completed items when it shouldn't. I have 40 items in my shopping cart and 5 items shown as completed. When I execute the script, it brings over all 40 items from my shopping cart, and also the 5 completed items. How do I code this so it only brings over the incomplete items? I don't want the completed items.
