Corruption involving repeat barline, MM rests, and time signature placement

Open cadiz2 opened this issue 2 months ago • 0 comments

Issue type

File corruption

Description with steps to reproduce

  1. Open the attached test file below: three instruments (with parts), with a time signature change (return to the initial, i.e., 6/8). Starting from this measure, enter a few notes in two instruments, but not in the first.
  2. Add a repeat barline to the 6/8 measure
  3. Check in the parts: you will notice that the 6/8 is repeated in the first part (just before the MM Rest). But It is not repeated in the other two instruments.
  4. Go to Format / Style / Clefs, Key & Time signature / In section “Clefs, key & time signatures at repeat and jumps”: untick “At repeats, only show changes before the barline”
  5. Save / Close / Reopen the file

Result: the score is corrupted in parts.
