Inserting tie while cross-staffed during note-entry doesn't work as expected

Open worldwideweary opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Issue type

UX/Interaction bug (incorrect behaviour)

Bug description

No response

Steps to reproduce

New Score

  1. Note Entry Mode
  2. Insert Note + Perform Cross Staff (move up)
  3. Trigger "tie" command

Result: tie doesn't appear + next chord is not cross staffed. If similar chord exists already somewhere afterwards, it will be tied to instead.

@oktophonie and I agree that the best solution here would be for the new chord (triggered by the "T" command) to be created on the same stave as the selected chord, and not on the origin stave.
