Callback called twice on error.

I have encountered a situation where the query callback is called twice. This is reproducible with mariasql 0.2.6 and nodejs 6.10.1 as follows:

Connect mariasql to the database Restart the database Attempt to run a query with a callback using the connection previously established.

The callback will be called twice.
