Using OA Backup

It has been quite a while since I used your backup program. I use Ubuntu Linux. I go to the directory where the program has been installed, run a terminal there and type in "./backup.sh". After that the terminal prompts that adb is not available. But I installed the SDK Platform Tools for Linux. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
