Add subtitle background radius

MPV currently allows users to set the color and opacity of the subtitle background. However, there is no option to set the radius of the background box. This could be a good option to modernize MPV, as it would allow users to customize the look of the subtitle background more precisely.

This is already possible with https://mpv.io/manual/master/#options-sub-ass-force-style

Do you mean https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/11585 ?

  1. no option for SRT
  2. seems impossible in ASS ( see Libass's request https://github.com/libass/libass/issues/688)

yes. image i use Smplayer and I think the rounded background is very modern am beautiful. i request to smplayer project (|ink) but i found this option is missing in mpv.

Is there any update to if this feature will ever be added to MPV? This is one of the main features that I am looking for.
