Redesign of the user interface possibility
First of all i'm not a tech savvy user, please forgive my ignorance. Recently I've stumbled upon a player on ios that uses libmpv and I was bedazzled by how good it works and looks. As I understand the interface is designed around ios components and it looks and feels similar to the OS itself. Could something like this be done on android using Material You design or something else? To top it off when you touch a screen to bring up osd, it even moves the subtitles up, so they don't overlap, what a nice touch!

Oh, almost forgot, the player's name in the topic is Outplayer, sadly it's closed source. What do you guys think about it's UI, anything like that possible on android version?

I don't have plans to implement such a thing.
Thank you for the reply, folder view is definitely not something mpv needs, just mentioned it as a side remark, but the player ui itself could see some improvements for the end user, for it to look more polished, sleek and in stance with the system. I will check the threads you mentioned, you can close the thread or leave it as it is for the potential UI ideas.
