Won't take input after semicolon ";"

Hi, It seems that the script is not taking in anything after a semicolon ;, it'd be great if there's a way to fix that. Huge thanks!! For example↓ input: any: name:A B {tags:A;B} actual query: any: name:A B {tags:A
