Less distracting UI in VR mode
Right now the UI in VR mode is above the heads and snaps to one of 8 directions.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The problem is that if you watch a 360 video or any other immersive content some regions are always occluded by the UI. In our case of planetariums shows it is very noticeable.
Describe the solution you'd like Just removing snapping will be a bad idea, and it will still be distracting. The only solution I can think of is a button to minimize the UI into one small semi-transparent button.
If you have same issue and you want to make the menu in VR to appear only when the button is pressed, you can do the following: https://github.com/lue/hubs/commit/b046481e35143756fc76356dbc053ab25ff614fb
Is it possible to move the UI to one of the wrists, and use it with the opposite controller, or make it appear in front of the controller by pressing a button.
Also for desktop it would be nice to have the option to hide or minimize the UI.
Experienced the same issue with a Quest 3 and Pico 4. First of all the menu is positioned above your eye sight in an uncomfortable way. Second the menu angle is messed up on Pico 4. On Quest 3 it's faced correctly towards you.
