What does fails with Angular8 right now?

i get the same issue when trying to update my project to angular 8. See below:

Package "angular2-flash-messages" has an incompatible peer dependency to "@angular/core" (requires "^6.0.0" (extended), would install "8.1.3").
Incompatible peer dependencies found. See above.
