What version of the Modrinth App are you using?

0.10.7

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Windows

Describe the bug

The Open Folder option in the context menu of the worlds shown on the home screen doesn't work. Pressing it does nothing.

Context menu

It does work when just the instance is shown, but not when it shows a specific world. Clicking on the world to open up the "Worlds" tab in the instance and then using the option in the context menu in there does work.

Steps to reproduce

Go to the home page with a world shown as in the image below.

World

Click the three little dots to open up the context menu, and click "Open Folder". Nothing happens.

Expected behavior

It opens the instance folder, similar to if the instance itself was shown and not a specific world in it. Alternatively, open the world folder for local worlds and for non-local worlds either open the instance folder as above or show a message indicating that the folder can't be opened. Either way, not doing nothing.

Additional context

No response

Hi there, this isn't a bug and intended to open the instance folder. Many "worlds" don't have a folder (e.g., joining a server while playing the instance).

The shown example is a world, a save, not a server, and the button still does nothing. What is the expected behaviour if not to open either the instance folder or the world folder? Again, currently, absolutely nothing happens, and I don't think that should be the way it works.

I've now updated the original issue to better explain what I mean and what the issue is. I'd prefer the issue reopened as I don't think it's resolved, but I don't have permission to do so.

Sorry I misunderstood the ticket from the original description. It looks like the button is only broken specifically for viewing an instance from a single player world (not if its an instance or a server quick join). Catalogued internally
