extra white space on Android 4 browsers

I am getting an extra white space between the menu and the main content area that I can't get rid of on Android browser 4.0.4. The issue comes up when viewing the live demo as well.

It's been a while and I don't have the device I was testing on any more, but basically: view the demo on the default Android browser version 4.0.4 and you should see a white gap between the side menu and the main content area.
