style: Add clarity to the readme

Mostly just changes to help make it less confusing (At least to me)

• Specifies that failure to provide a valid directory or one that has a splits file will cause adrift to silently quit

• Provides an example to the unconventional config structure

• Specifies that it should be a hex code not a color code if I'm not mistaken
