Adding multiple syntax blocks with line numbers to a post hangs/stuck on android mobile

I have a blog post with multiple paragraphs and pictures. When I added multiple code blocks to this post with line number syntax highlighting the post page gets stuck and is eventually forcefully closed by android system.

The post experience seems valid on desktop. But the mobile navigation is either really sluggish or the post page is stuck and navigation is not even possible especially while navigating from top to bottom.

Reference Code blocks used are taken from* https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/basics-file-handling-c/

Possible reproduction steps: I am not sure if it will re-produce on each system but for me the following works on my end:

• Add about 5 to 7 snippets from the "https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/basics-file-handling-c/" to be syntax + line number highlighted

Note:

• Removing the line number options makes a page little more responsive on mobile but still the page navigation while using syntax highlight have sluggish experience while navigating from top to bottom
• I tried the wordpress "prismatic" plugin for syntax highlighting. The issue is not present with this plugin when though both plugins are using "prism" as there syntax highlighter
