Can't install on Mac

Trying to add this to my project and I get this:

$ pod update
Analyzing dependencies
[!] The platform of the target `Pods` (OS X 10.6) is not compatible with `SocketShuttle (0.3.2)` which has a minimum requirement of iOS 5.0.

I know that SocketRocket supports OSX, and I'm using it now. I was hoping to switch to SocketShuttle.
