If :KittyScrollbackCheckHealth fails, please provide

  • Neovim version

  • What shell are you using? (e.g., bash, ksh, fish, nushell, etc)

  • What version of the shell? // TODO: possible add this to KittyScrollbackCheckHealth

  • Are you using an Nvim Distro? If so, which one? (e.g., LazyVim, NvChad, mini.nvim AstroNvim, etc)

Troubleshooting step:

Run kitty in your Kitty terminal to open a new instance. Test if kitty-scrollback.nvim works in the new instance. It is possible that environment variables are not properly set on the first instance of Kitty.
