Failed to resolve tree item Error
When in the Function Apps section, a resource has been deleted in the portal but the Function App section fails to reload and has an of "Failed to resolve tree item." Once this occurs, the function Apps section is permanently stuck and wont update any additional resources that are created. Basically an entry for a deleted function app is stuck in the tree
Thanks for bringing this up to us! We are currently working on fixing this.
But in the meantime, I believe if you right-click your subscription node and click "Refresh" that it will remove the stale Function App.
Needs to be handled in each client extension, most likely after V2 releases
