Postgresql v0.6.0: Failed to expand node: can only concatenate str (not "bytes") to str

  • Azure Data Studio Version: 1.48.0
  • OS Version: Microsoft Windows 11 Home - Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631
  • WSL version: 2.1.5.0

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. start wsl2 with a Debian 12 distro with postgresql 16 running
  2. connect and try to expand connection and/or databases

I see a similar issue when connecting to a remote Postgres instance hosted on a Ubuntu server.
