SimpleFFBWheel not working on PC
This appears to be a known issue, filing this issue for tracking/referencing elsewhere.
From the README for that sample:
The Desktop build is currently not supported due to an issue with racing wheels on PC. A future verison of this sample will include Desktop support.
I tinkered with the code and there seem to be a couple of issues (at least):
- Racing wheels are detected as the generic controller type, not a racing wheel (this is mentioned in a comment somewhere in the sample).
- The device didn't report support force feedback
