WAD errored during the /status command

Error 500 after get request.

Preparation steps: WinAppDriver v1.3 Release Candidate 1 (1.2.99) Windows 11 PC.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Run: WinAppDriver.exe 4724/wd/hub
  2. Send get request to: http://127.0.0.1:4724/wd/hub/status

You're not the only one. Appium runs /status and gets the same from WebAppDriver.

WebAppDriver 1.2.99 Appium 2.0.0 Windows 10 Professional

So with this issue, is it safe to say that we can not use Appium with latest WinAppDriver ( 1.2.99 RC ) ?

I had same issue on Windows Server 2022. Had to uninstall WinAppDriver v1.2.99 and install v1.2.1
