When will EBMs be released to the public?
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have great interest in training a EBM in a distributed fashion in PySpark, and I was so sad to see that this is currently only in preview in Fabric. I was wondering when it might become available widely e.g. to Databricks users.
Describe the solution you'd like EBMs on Databricks :)

Hey @guhanrv -- I'm the original author of the internal effort back from 2022 or 2023 or whenever it was. As far as when and how this may be made open source, what I can say is that there was a vigorous effort to make it open source, but, yes, as you observe it isn't.
My suspicion is that in these days they'll be a bit more open to that possibility, but it's also a question of devoting resources. It isn't zero effort to bear something out from the internal to the external base. I'll bring it up, but, don't hold your breath?
