Thanks @ThinhPhoenix to report the issue. Can you try if it is the same as PowerToy Run (i.e. launch with Alt + space)? I see there should be no logic change from Run to Command Palette: https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/blob/main/src/modules/launcher/Wox.Plugin/Common/DefaultBrowserInfo.cs https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/blob/main/src/modules/cmdpal/ext/Microsoft.CmdPal.Ext.WebSearch/Helpers/DefaultBrowserInfo.cs

I'm seeing the same issue with the old Run or new Command Palette. I've tried setting every file type and link type away from edge that I can, but they both still use edge for searching.

In Run if I type in a url, that does respect my default browser set in windows. It just seems to be the ?? search extension that is the issue for me.

I am also experiencing a similar issue. After transitioning my default browser from Brave to Zen, Command Palette still thinks that Brave is my default browser and uses that whenever I kick off a web search. Is there something going on where it can only detect Chromium-based browsers, and isn't updated when you switch off of one?
