Question

Do you accept contributions on new models? I trained a model that can identify 10k species of birds.

here is its weights, here is the sample code for using it, and it also contains a database for filtering results based on species distribution. If this is acceptable, I can take the time to add a pull request.

Hi @sun-jiao! 👋

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for your interest in adding your model to PyTorchWildlife — we’re always excited to see new contributions from the community!

There are two main ways we can bring your model into the library:

Direct contribution: If you can adapt your model so it’s compatible with PyTorchWildlife and open a pull request, we’ll be happy to review it and work with you on merging.

Collaborative integration: If you prefer, we can review the model weights and sample code, and our team can implement a version on our end (though this option may take a bit longer before release).

Either way, we’d love to help get your model included. Please let us know which option suits you best! :)
