Use question with video vs audio files

I'd like the option of always running visualisation with audio files but not with video files but still be able to run visualization on video file when desired with hotkey.

At the moment, I can access visualizations on video file (and not run on starting video) but can't run visualization on audio file automatically when audio file starts.

You understand what I mean? Have ability to toggle visualizations on with video files (but not have visualization on starting file); and have visualization play when audio file starts.

Am I missing something?
