No, this is because in a .rst document we don't insert images as in HTML.

The document is recognizing the tag as a plain text, so that no image is shown. I'll update to the correct sintax and verify that it works on our doc generation pipeline with Sphinx

removing two lines of code, the image appears (nott fully formatted) in the snapshot at GitHub, but not in the dev.jandig site.
