Please report here the issues of the new implementation to work for older browsers

hmm I've tested here and I am having the same error. But it is strange the line 64 have only

} catch (e) {

so, I dont know yet how to fix this

What are the issues with IE7 and IE8? I'm looking to add support, but before I try I would like to know what I'm up against.
