Bulk mark previous videos as skipped

I have added a couple of channels and it is currently downloading every previous episode. Is there a way to prevent this on adding a new channel, or in general? It would be good if there was an easy way to do this.

You can not download older videos by using the "download cap" and set a maximum age in days on the Source settings. If you have a load of YouTube videos already downloaded with the video IDs in the filenames you can mark them as downloaded by importing them. Either of those two options do what you want?
