File -> Open Notebook menu option has no effect, same for keyboard shortcut CTRL+O

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Launch KeepNote
2.Close any open notebook
3.Open the File menu
4.Click on "Open Notebook..."
5.Note absence of file picker dialog or any other response from application
6.Press CTRL+O
7.Note absence of file picker dialog or any other response from application

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When selecting "Open Notebook..." the user is prompted to choose which notebook 
to open.  Notebooks can be opened successfully using the "Open Recent 
Notebooks" File menu option.

Alternatively, selecting the top level folder of the notebook, right clicking, 
selecting "Open With Other Application..." and selecting KeepNote also works.


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I use KeepNote 0.7.8 on Arch Linux, and Open Notebook... does bring about a file picker dialog, but this dialog is not quite functional: folders are grayed out and cannot be browsed.
