keepnote doesn't write the letter 'o'

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open keepnote
2. Create a new page
3. Press key 'o'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
keepnote doesn't write anything. I expected the letter 'o' to be written. It
works if I press "shift" key to write it in uppercase.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.8

Please provide any additional information below.

If you create a new page (with the name "New Page"), Keepnote will await you to
rename that entry. Is this the entry rename procedure that fails for you, or
entering text into the page content area fails?

Anyway do you have Virtualbox installed and running? It messes up the Host OS
keyboard sometimes, (if that happens to be the case, Alt+Tab into a virtual
machine, then Alt+Tab out from it and check again).

Hello,

It fails trying to write "o" in any part of the application including notes
titles or content.

I do have Virtualbox installed although not running.

hello,

i am experiencing a similar glitch with being unable to type the letter 'o.' this started recently after having used the product with zero issues the past year.

when i type lower 'o' the "view error log" shortcut is executed as if i went to "help -> view error log" this occurs with KeepNote 0.7.9 and KeepNote 0.7.8 on 64bit windows.
